Part-time administrative assistant to an investment advisor

Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Support the investment advisor in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts

• Booking appointments 

• Verification of documents

• Request information and documentation from clients in order to open accounts and keep client files up to date

• Follow up on clients to ensure proper settlement and delivery

Skills required 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Good problem-solving skills

• Experience writing and delivering communications 

• Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative

• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills

• Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English (in order to serve French and English-speaking clients in the Québec/Ontario market)

Weekly Hours: 18

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20,000.00 per year
